airThe “Air” Environment Department provides specialist assistance with the evaluation of the environmental effects of industrial processes.

It is approved by the Walloon Region and has BELAC accreditation (ISO 17025) for measurement of atmospheric pollution emissions including:

  • Continuous measurements (O2, CO2, CO, SO2, NOX and total hydrocarbons)
  • Discontinuous sampling: HCl, HF, SO2 and SO3
  • Sampling of dust and heavy metals

This department is also approved in the Walloon Region for sampling of dioxins and furans (PCDD/F’s) as well as sampling and analysis of volatile organic compounds on emission.

The ‘Air’ Environmental Department also provides information, support, and consultancy. It also carries out continuous monitoring of the legislation and standardisation regarding the environment and prevention of nuisances of industrial origin.

INISMa is also approved in France.
